The Seraph’s lips upon the glass
Her hands wave desperately
And her eyes, they follow him
Whom she loves so foolishly
Kept, living under glass
A maiden sealed for time to pass
Dressed in white
Conserved virginity
Virtuous divinity
And where the ladybugs went
To where branches bent
Over placid lakes and untouched snow
Divinity was sure not to go
To where Ivy spreads her poison
And young loves once began
She could not even follow
No matter how hard she ran
